Helen graduated from La Trobe University in 1988 and brings extensive experience working with preschool and primary school-aged children in both the UK and Australia. For the past 30 years, she has been dedicated to early intervention at Aurora School, supporting children with hearing loss and diverse developmental and medical needs. Now offering private speech pathology services, Helen is a Certified Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia, driven by a passion for working with children and their families.
Helen adopts a family-centered approach to support children's needs within their family, school and community. Collaborating as part of a team, she uses evidence-based research and effective strategies, integrating therapy into play, family life and school curriculums. Importantly, Helen empowers parents with the skills and confidence to reinforce therapy activities in natural home and community settings.
